Treatment Plan Development

It is important for the treatment plan to include aftercare and ongoing support. The plan should include community support systems, such as parenting classes, recreation resources, and the faith community. To the extent possible, the plan should include partners, family members, and significant others. Issues such as housing, employment, support group membership, counseling, parenting, and physical and mental health need to be addressed. The addiction professional should be familiar with community resources in order to include appropriate referrals in the treatment plan.
