FASD - The Course

Welcome to FASD - The Course, which is free to the public. This course provides an overview of risk factors for fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, signs and symptoms, and prevention and treatment methods. The course includes seven modules and can be taken at your own pace. You can complete one or more modules based on your needs. This course is designed primarily for health, mental health, and social service providers, educators, and other professionals who work with children, adolescents, and adults with an FASD. Parents, caregivers, and family members may also find it helpful.

Did you know that each year about 40,000 babies are born prenatally exposed to alcohol? The more you know about the devastating effects of alcohol on these children, the more you can do to help. We hope you find FASD - The Course useful and we welcome your feedback. Thank you for your interest in our course.
