The Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation is the state agency responsible for serving Alabama citizens with mental illness, mental retardation and substance abuse problems. They can provide referrals to treatment services for pregnant and/or parenting women who have alcohol/drug abuse disorders.
