Maternal And Child Health (MCH) Hotline
Available twenty-four hours/day, 7 days/week, The DHSS provides support to the regional Maternal and Child Health Consortia (MCHC) for the Perinatal Addictions Prevention Project. These programs are responsible for training physicians to screen pregnant women for alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, maintaining addiction and health services resource directories, providing perinatal addictions education to a broad and varied audience and other related initiatives. DHSS also funds six regional FASD Diagnostic Centers.
